How To Download & Install World Edit in Minecraft Single Player
It's used for editing the physical Minecraft world on your server. with no mods, or adding it into a modpack you already have installed. These versions of Minecraft have limited or no mod support. Note that “Windows 10 Edition” refers to a specific Edition of Minecraft, not the Java Edition. After you're in the '.minecraft', you should have a folder called 'mods'. If you don't, simply create it like I do in the image above.

You can check them all out by clicking the download button below! World Edit is a Forge mod, so obviously, in order to get it installed and working, you'll need to download and install Forge. Lucky for you, we have an in-depth tutorial on downloading and installing Forge, and you can check it out here! Once you've got Forge up and running, it's time to install World Edit! Now that Forge is up and running, it's time to get World Edit installed. To do this, you need to download World Edit. Once you're on the download page, actually downloading World Edit is pretty easy. There are two options. From there, you will be able to download any version you wanted. Note: Be sure the version of World Edit you download is for the same version of Forge you have installed. For example, you must have Forge for Minecraft 1. Once you've got World Edit downloaded, it's time to actually install it into Minecraft. Luckily, this is pretty easy. That will open up a Windows Explorer window with a bunch of folders in it. Open up that folder. If you don't, simply create it like I do in the image above. Once you've found the mods folder, open it up, and drag and drop the World Edit file you downloaded earlier in this tutorial into it. After that, the hard part is done! Last but not least, you need to open up Minecraft, but before you just go ahead and jump into the latest release, remember this is a Forge mod. Thus, you need to select Forge when launching into the game. To do this, simply click the little arrow next to the play button in the Minecraft launcher. Once you've done that, you'll get a big list of all the Minecraft versions you currently have downloaded. No longer do you have to painstakingly copy and paste buildings manually. Now, you can do it in a few clicks! In all serious, World Edit is incredible and the ability to build with it in single player makes creating things like adventure and custom maps a whole heck of a lot easier.
