What you want to grab instead is tes5edit. Open Tes5edit, right click on the first window that appears and hit deselect all and then ONLY select the mod you want to edit any masters will be loaded automatically. Wait for it to load, it will say Background loader Finished in the right panel when it is done. Click the little cross next to the mod so that it opens up the mods structure, open up the Misc. Item catagory, and to go the record that is labeled with the editor id Gold It will open up on the right pane and the very very last variable at the bottom of the column for mod should be the weight. Click on it so its highlighted make sure you click on the column related to your mod, not any other and type 0. A warning box will appear, just hit okay, it should change the value, and then just closed tes5edit via the x in the top corner and make sure you safe AND BACKUP your plugin you edited. All done Fair warning, I typed this up from memory having done a similar edit recently, so sorry if theres any slight flaws in the instructions, but you should be good with that edit. Edit: Ilja you can do the same as above but use 1 instead of 0 to add weight to coins in one of your existing mods instead of using a brand new mod for it as well if you want.
