The San Francisco 49ers will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football in a matchup between a pair of two-win teams. Fantasy football players and sports bettors should take a look at the weather in Santa Clara, California heading into the game.

A person with knowledge of the program told USA TODAY Sports that the new show, "Peacock Sunday Night Football Final," will be hosted by Kathryn Tappen and former NFL quarterback Chris Simms and will stream live exclusively on Peacock throughout the 2021 season, starting with Sunday’s matchup between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.

"Football Night in America" commentators will also appear on the program to provide recaps and analysis of the day’s top NFL storylines.

"Sunday Night Football" has been network television's top-rated show in each of the past 10 years, but there is little concern about the audience switching over to the streaming service for more NFL content.

The San Francisco 49ers (2-3) and the Indianapolis Colts (2-4) will duel it out in a primetime matchup on Sunday Night Football. The Colts have won two of their last three games and are currently second in the AFC South. San Francisco, meanwhile, looks to end its three-game losing streak in front of its home crown. The 49ers have won four of their last six games at home against Indianapolis.
