The Forgotten Realms mod for RimWorld adding fantasy races and factions for them. This mod is considered finished, no new content will be added in future, simply maintained. Races can be enabled disabled entirely in the settings if you wish. Each one comes with an individual faction which can also be toggled in the settings separately as long as the race is enabled. Racial traits are traits which are built into the race, you'll never see them as an actual trait on the race because it'd be redundant. All Elves have the 'Beautiful' traits effects, but can still have the beautiful trait as a "relative to typical elves" thing since it would increase it further. However the chances of the beauty spectrum traits are no different for elves. If you have Illithids enabled, a patch will ensure brains are produced upon butchering a humanoid pawn that fits the restrictions, this is what they must eat to survive. This does not happen if they are disabled as it would serve no purpose. Illithids reproduce by use of the Elder Brain Pool structure, buildable using the Elder Brain item which should be able to be found rarely through exotic traders or extracted from an existing Illithid via surgery of course this kills the Illithid in the process. Having a pawn use the Elder Brain Pool will allow them to extract a tadpole once it has produced one internally, check the info on the pool to know if it has , and use the surgery option to "Implant Illithid Tadpole" on a non-illithid pawn. This will begin Ceremorphosis and in some time produce an Illithid fully aligned with you in their place. The pawns stats and health mean nothing for the resulting Illithid. The Elder Brain Pool structure also slowly passively researches as long as there is a single Illithid in the colony capable of research. It works by using the highest intelligence Illithid so without one it will not function. Each additional Illithid will also very slightly increase the rate at which the pool works, so a larger colony will speed up the passive research. Outpost 21 Wiki Explore. Wiki Content. A race of humanoids that resemble spiders and are typically found in the Underdark. Dwarves, sometimes called the Stout Folk, were a natural humanoid race common throughout parts of Toril as well as Abeir. Dwarves were a tough, tradition-abiding folk known for their strong martial traditions and beautiful craftsmanship. Drow, also known as dark elves, deep elves, night elves, or sometimes "The Ones Who Went Below" on the surface, were a dark-skinned sub-race of elves that predominantly lived in the Underdark. They were hated and feared due to their cruelty, though some non-evil and an even smaller number of good drow existed. Moon elves, also known as Teu-tel-quessir in the elven language or as silver elves, were the most common of all the elven subraces. More tolerant of humans than other elves, moon elves were the ancestors of most half-elves. Haughty and arrogant, sun elves typically felt themselves superior to most other races, including other Tel-quessir. Wood elves, also known as copper elves, or Or-tel-quessir were the most populous of the elven races. A race of reclusive giant-kin, usually they prefer to avoid contact with other sentient races making them a very rare sight. None, but they don't mind 'sleeping rough'. The gith were a race of humanoids who had been enslaved by mind flayers for countless generations. Some sages claimed that they were once descended from humans, while others maintained that their original race was in fact unknown. After breaking free from their enslavement, philosophical differences led to a bitter internal conflict, which divided the gith into two main different races at constant odds with each other: the githyanki and the githzerai. Goblins were a race of small and numerous goblinoids common throughout Toril, often living in underground caverns near the surface known as lairs. The race was often, though not always, dominated by other goblinoids, most commonly hobgoblins. Goblins may have, in fact, been initially created by this related race to serve as scouts and infiltrators. Also known as Hin, or the "quick folk" amongst themselves, Halflings are small humanoid creatures, very similar in appearance to Humans, but around half their size. Half-orcs were humanoids born of both human and orc ancestry by a multitude of means. Having the combined physical power of their orcish ancestors with the agility of their humans ones, half-orcs were formidable individuals. Though they were often shunned in both human and orcish society for different reasons, half-orcs have proven themselves from time to time as worthy heroes and dangerous villains. Their existence implied an interesting backstory that most would not like to dwell on. Hobgoblins are a larger, stronger, smarter, and more menacing form of goblinoids than goblins, but not as powerful as bugbears. It is believed they may have created the latter two races. Illithids or "Mind Flayers" were humanoid in appearance but with an octopus-like, ridged head with four tentacles surrounding a lamprey-like mouth. They were warm-blooded amphibians, whose blood had a silvery-white color. Their hands had long, reddish fingers and lacked the index finger, and their feet were two-toed and webbed. Illithid eyes were extremely sensitive to bright light, and they considered it painful, a characteristic that some githyanki scholars attributed to the fact that their alien anatomy focused light in a strange way. Their vision was also more sensitive to the recognition of geometric patterns than that of other humanoids. Only eat Humanoid Brains, and only need to eat roughly once every 14 days. Killoren were a relatively new and uncommon race of fey. It was unknown whether they were created by a deity or were spontaneously created by nature itself. Slightly more flammable than Humans. They are herbivorous, and cannot survive on meat, but only eat half as much as a Human. Aggressive, xenophobic, yet industrious small humanoid creatures, kobolds are noted for their skill at building traps and preparing ambushes. This changed somewhat in the years preceding and immediately after the Spellplague, when a horde of mountain orcs under the command of King Obould Many-Arrows unified into a single kingdom, one that was remarkably civilized. Tabaxi also known as jaguar people or cat-men, were a race of feline humanoids native to the jungles of Maztica. They are Carnivorous, they need meat. They only eat half as much as Humans to compensate. Less flammable than Humans. The warforged were built to fight in the Last War. The first warforged were mindless automatons, but House Cannith devoted vast resources to improving these steel soldiers. An unexpected breakthrough produced fully sentient soldiers, blending organic and inorganic materials. Warforged are made from wood and metal, but they can feel pain and emotion. Built as weapons, they must now find a purpose beyond the war. A warforged can be a steadfast ally, a cold-hearted killing machine, or a visionary in search of purpose and meaning. They do not eat, nor do they sleep. The race is capable of passively healing and repairing even from losing an entire limb or organ.
