When I went to replay the mission, I noticed all challenges were now marked as "complete" presumably getting credit for previous playthroughs during which no progress was tracked , as were all encounters and collectibles. I returned, managed to grt the collectible, but i did not complete the challenges. I missed the glory kills one. Now whenever i try to come back to do them i freeze first 2 enemies and nothing happens, so i cant complete this in my current save slot. Posted by Adamantium NZ on 14 Jul at I missed the second secret encounter and the Pain Elemental glory kills on my first playthrough. I've had to do it again in Extra Life mode. A good spot to get the Pain Elemental glory kills out the way is in the very first secret encounter. This spawns an Elemental, a Cacodemon, a zombie and a Doom Hunter. You can stagger the elemental, get a glory kill and let the timer run out so you can spawn in a new elemental. Although there are enough Elementals in the level to get all 3 glory kills, I figured it was best to do it here in case you accidentally do the same glory kill animation twice and don't get the challenge. Also for the second secret encounter, use quick swap between the super shotgun and the ballista on the Marauder. Makes quick work of him so you can finish the encounter in time. Ran through the campaign on my first play through, ran back and did all collectibles for all misc achievements and my challenges counter would never go up from 0 everytime I tried to replay the damn level. I start up extra life mode and when I get to Taras Nabad I run through and do all challenges and collect everything completely forgetting emperean key stupid me. So skip to ancient gods and do all the DLC, and come back and run another campaign as this is now my last achievement and i speed run all the levels up to Taras Nabad. Seriously fuck this achievement. Let me know when they fix it Posted by Dan B on 25 Jul at I only missed the pain elemental challenge on this level, but on replay the freeze 10 enemies challenge is locked at zero although I managed to progress the pain elemental challenge on replay. Hopefully extra life mode will let me get this, but as others have said best to make sure you do everything in one go on your first play through! I've tried with cheats, without cheats, doesn't matter. Neither the ice grenade nor pain elemental one tracks now making the achievement unobtainable on this save.
