Modular Frame Super-Efficient Factory Layout · Part 1 – Smelter Placement · Part 2 – Iron Plate Constructor Line · Part 3 – Iron Rod Constructor Line · Part 4 –. Modular Frame is a building resource used to construct mid-game buildings and equipment. The following shows different ways to produce 1 Modular Frame. r/SatisfactoryGame - Built the 10 modular frames a minute schematic. I've uploaded some more images so you can see my smeltery setup. r/SatisfactoryGame - Rotor/Modular Frame Factory That's a pretty minimalist setup you have there. Usually I'm doing lcd, 3 reinforced to. I set up my production line based around 2 overclocked (%) assemblers making the modular frames to save on space, you could also just. A more robust multi-purpose frame. Heavy Modular Frame details. Sink points, Form, Solid. Stack size, Radioactive, No. Recipes. The aim of this layout is to produce 10 modular frames per minute which will eventually follow on, to be used in our Heavy modular frame layout whilst maintaining a clean and compact factory. This guide will have a selection of screenshots to help in the construction, and should you need it, you can find a video time lapse guide attached. TotalXclipse First we will need to place eight smelters, the first five should flow forwards, spanning the first and second row, placed in the centre of the sixth through to the 10th column. We shall place the remaining three smelters along the second column spanning the fifth and sixth, seventh and eighth as well as the ninth and tenth rows. Now place splitters taking the iron ore from your chosen inputs through to the smelters in a manifold style as you can see in the photo below. The iron plate constructor line consists of five constructors and we shall also place a sixth constructor along this line for rods. To get the correct positioning place a splitter flowing forwards directly in front of the very first smelter in the first row. Once placed we shall place a constructor directly in front of the splitter, followed by a constructor directly to the left and four more constructors to the right in line with the smelters we previously placed. To finish this section, we will place a merging manifold flowing from right to left on the other output side of the plate constructors, finishing with a merger flowing forwards. Here we need to place six more constructors for the iron rod production. For this we shall place splitters in front of the smelters that are along the second column. Directly in front of these splitters we shall place a constructor as well as another constructor to the right. Set all these constructors to iron rods. Once set connect the smelters to the splitters, and for each splitter connect two constructors. At this point we will place a merger in the middle, in front of the top two constructors and immediately after we shall place a splitter flowing to the right. You can connect the top two constructors to this merger and then connect the merger to the splitter. We shall place another splitter, this time flowing downwards. For the correct placement place the splitter in the middle of the fifth row running parallel to the top splitter. We shall connect the third constructor to the input. We will need to also merge the last three constructors as well as the rod constructor in the plate constructor line. Now we need to place five constructors for screws. Place these in a row starting from the sixth row of the sixth column and place them all the way up to the tenth row. We will then connect the top splitter between the top three constructors, and the bottom two constructors will be connected to the bottom splitter. Now connect all the screw constructors together using mergers flowing down, with the exception of the bottom constructor's merger, this merger will face forwards flowing towards the right of the layout. For this conveyor line you will need to use MK3 conveyors. Next we will need to place three assemblers in the eighth column starting from the sixth row up to the ninth row. From here we will need to place a splitter manifold for the screws followed by a manifold above the screws for the iron plates. Make sure the two manifolds are connected to the two resource lines, these two manifolds will then feed into the three assemblers. We are now ready to place the last five assemblers next to one another in a row starting from the 11th row in the last column. These should all be set to produce modular frames and in front of the assemblers you will want to place another double manifold, one for the reinforced plates and a second one for the rods. Finally, we shall construct a merging line the other side of the assemblers. You will now be able to run this factory producing ten modular frames per minute and from this point you can lead them to a storage area or you can follow on from this guide over to our Heavy Modular Frame Guide. We look forward to updating the site weekly with new guides and layouts.
