May 28, 40 Hello, in one of my games I found a planet with the planet modifier after anomaly research "raw materials", stating the planet provide lots of extra production?! Has anyone else got this modifier and can tell me what was the impact? Furthermore, I encounter the problem that once I handle a planet to a sector, all tiles except the capital stop collecting food, causing starvation on the planet. Hovering with the mouse above particular tile just say "Not collected" without any further hints for the reason. If I take the planet of the sector, it is going back to normal. Is this a bug? DreadLindwyrm Augustus of the North 86 Badges. Jan 31, 9. The ball and chain there indicates something is missing in what it needs to collect the resources, but I can't tell from the screenshot what. Have you assigned a governor to the sector in question, and is the planet dependent on any "special" resources? DreadLindwyrm said:. Click to expand Gateway Sergeant 18 Badges. Apr 24, 57 I have not seen this myself. Can you upload your savegame so we might take a look? There you are. Jul 6, Odd, you seem to be missing a few tooltips. Oh, the problem is that sector has no energy. I gave them some energy and collection resumes. That planet Shambhala has a heavy energy deficit, So you would need to give them energy periodically a pain , add other systems with energy output e. Turim , or combine it with another sector e. Carthage that has energy to pay for things. Alternatively, keep feeding them energy and the sector governor will tear down buildings to build power plants to pay for itself tested for a few months, it just replaced a bio lab with power planet, and upgrading it still. Regardless, I do believe sectors are suppose to try to balance its upkeep, so I wonder if part of the apparent bug could be due to that. One would probably need to make a sector of 1 planet only and systematically test it carefully in order to eliminating or quantify extraneous factors and possibly modding to test the boundary of the mechanics itself. This may have been done already, and I'm just not up to date on latest research too many threads to read Agreed Botox. I think sectors are meant to be balanced as a whole, certainly the tooltip suggests so. If that's true, then the governor should do whatever it takes, including replacing buildings, to achieve that despite not allowing redevelopment. Yet as a scientist that's just my hypothesis, and I have not sat down and carried out carefully constructed experiments to test it. Therefore, until I have done so or have seen reports to that effect and possibly be able to duplicate it , I must remain skeptical on whether it is a real or perceived bug. I hope not that the sector AI is allowed to redevelop even if you strictly forbid it. Thats how it is atm and its gigantic BS. But we'll see what 1. Hopefully by the end of the week.
