It happens after pressing a hotkey N times sometimes you need to press it about times. I was able to reproduce it on Overwolf v0. Update: The same issue happens in other apps for Apex Legends. If the app restores some in-game window automatically, the game can go to the windowed mode anyway. Adding here that the dev mentioned that it happens in the steam version. Origin version not tested. Downloading now the origin version. I will test it tomorrow and also test the above on another machine to make it double-check. We found the issue, and we will release a fix on the next iteration.
